First day of Preschool

Emma started preschool this fall! She is getting so big... everyday she comes home with a cute project and is so excited to put it on the fridge or hang up on her door. She loves school and we have to thank her teacher Molly for making school fun for her.

family camp out

so awhile ago our ward had a camp-out somewhere in the mountains, and people we weren't there because we drove around for 3 hours trying to find the stupid site!!! but since that was a total FAIL....we improvised and camped out in our backyard!!! it was a lot of fun and i always forget how good chase is at camping.... really he is so sweet to set everything up and use my air mattresses( he believes is sleeping on the floor...weird i know!) but we made our own little fire pit, by we i mean chase while i watch....go team!
anyways we roasted marshmallows and then we
slept.....outside.....for two days......it was sooo fun!
my brother Devin came out the first time to join in the smores-ing, my other brother Aaron and his girlfriend Kennedy came out the second night, unfort there were no pictures by that time i had lost interest....sorry


Emma went to town with the chocolate, and chase can you believe it had never really had a smore before!!!!wtf, i know crazy!!!! he enjoyed them....well as much as someone can who doesn't like marshmallows..... needless to say those two days were super fun!

oh man....SURPISE

so after Indiana we had some exciting adventures! Emmalee had asleep over with her cousin Alyviah....they love each other like sisters which means that they fight like sisters, but that had so much fun! they loved sleeping in Emma's toddler bed together and they were surprisingly really good the entire time!we love it!

we also had a good friend get engaged(getting married tomorrow actually) and he got his fiances name tattooed on his ring finger so we went with him cause chase was supposed to get my initials on his ring finger, but he was too scared to get it and i have wanted a tattoo for years and years and so i finally got one!!! K PEOPLE DON'T FREAK! i am still a good person i promise! i love it and don't regret it one bit! i felt like i was just being myself and not worrying about what others thought, and i am always worried about stuff like that! it was liberating and i love it! (lets still be friends okay people!)!

oh and another fun little tid-bit---we got another dog! Reggie(our first dog) was getting a little anti-social cause we don't know anyone with dogs so i went on a hunt and found a cute little cocka-poo mix and asked chase if i could get her, he said yes and to call him! i was so excited so i bought the little puppy and then called chase and he was all "what you bought it!!! i told you to call me!" he wasn't mad just shocked that i actually got her!!! she is adorable she is a big fatty now though but we still love her! we named her Oakley and she is so funny! i have an animal problem i know but i love them so much!!! one day we hope to have 4 but not anytime soon, my parents already want to kill me with 2 in their Provo house so one day we will get 2 more big ones.....one day! okay i think i overloaded enough information/surprises in this post so more will come !

indiana-family pictures

oh my gosh i had to go back way farther than i thought! way back in may we were in Indiana and we got our family pictures taken by my sister in laws friend! it was a lot of fun and my grandma Helen was there and chase got to meet her for the first time and can i just say that she loves him!


he will brag that she called him a, and i quote, " a big sexy beast" hahaha i about died! she is such a funny lady and i hope she takes care of her self so she will be around for a while! we love her!
it was so nice to have everyone together! my parents love seeing all there grand babies, especially my dad he doesn't get to see them as often so he plays all sorts of games with them! while taking pictures he was keeping them entertained on the bridge yelling " you shall not pass!" from the lord of the rings(which by the way none of them have seen it) and they would just laugh and laugh and try to run past him! he kept up pretty good, i was impressed!

i love all of my nieces and nephews! they are so cute and each one is so different! some of these are older but they are all cute!

Nathan, Becca, and Danielle are siblings and Eli is the newest addition to our family he was born 4 weeks early and is just the sweetest baby! my sister was pregnant while in Indiana i cant wait to meet him!......next post! Emma's birthday and 4th of July! and a few surprises!

the days just go by

so i have come to the conclusion AGAIN that blogging is kinda hard to do if you don't do it for a while.....so much has been going on ( good and bad) that i have been slacking on keeping things up to date! so i decided that i am going to try my hardest to just go back and do a small post every couple of days and eventually i think i will catch up.....so be prepared people.....be prepared!

we finally won!!

so we are on a softball team and every Friday we have a game.....we are not too great but we have a lot of fun ......BUT last night we won!!!!! that was the first game that chase and i were at that we won! it was so exciting and i actually hit and got to first base and chase almost hit it out of the field....stupid fence!! we had so much fun! yeah for us!

indiana trip

just prepare yourself people i was gone for 2 weeks! i went to Indiana because my oldest brother graduated with his masters in engineering from Purdue!! yeah for him.....and they just had a new baby and we got to see my grandma!! anyways it was a lot of fun! chase came for the weekend and i stayed for another week and a half to help watch kids and then i went to visit my best friend from high school! i had a blast! enjoy the photo overload!

so we went to 2 zoo's while we were there the first was just meg and i and the 3 older kids.
it was the Colombian zoo/ park. they had a little petting zoo and some monkeys and then just a million play sets.....it was drama leaving but we had a lot of fun~

so after everyone left to their homes my dad and i had a day to kill before i went to my friends so he took us to the Indianapolis zoo! it was soooo nice! my camera was almost out of battery so we only got the first part of the zoo but they had the coolest stuff. they had a dolphin show and a petting zoo and an elephant show....it was so nice! oh and we all got to pet sharks!!! it was really the best zoo ever!

so here are the only 2 pictures i have of being at Amanda's house! they don't have very many singles so they all know each other and on the missionaries p-days they all get together and play games! they were nice enough to let Emma play and i must say she wasn't too bad! she looked so big playing though, its really freaking me out how big she is!


so for those of you that lasted this long, congratulations! you now know the fun stuff i did while you were at home....hahaha just kidding but seriously we had a blast!

skating , running and hiking oh my!!

so before we left for Indiana we went ice skating and we had a blast! Emma was actually really good i was impressed chase on the other hand struggled.....it was cute and funny to watch, and i was just hanging in there, it was so much fun!


so in preparation for leaving on our trip i went and bought Emma some new shoes an among them were a target steal......9 dollar running shoes!!! Emma was so excited to go running so we took Reggie out and she literally ran! i mean like around the block and to a 3 year old that's kinda far.....and no the wet on her shirt isn't sweat its water but it was a nice little effect after she spilled! she is just so hard core! and to top it off when we got home from Indiana we hiked the "Y" and my sweet little girl almost hiked up the whole thing by herself! the way down was another story but she was such a trooper! it was so fun! she is as adventurous as her daddy she was jumping of the rocks at the top pf the mountain while her mom had a heart attack!

so emmalee and i have been out of town but we just got back so look forward to some a new post!

Its official!!

chase is a firefighter!!!! yeah! he graduated this Wednesday with the rest of class 51!!! i am so proud of him! he absolutely loves being a fireman, and whatever makes him happy makes me happy! he is such an amazing man and he will be the greatest firefighter! its a little scary to think but i am so proud to be a firefighters wife! he has worked so hard in the academy! he would come home covered in smoke and smell just like a burning building , and yes i am now well acquainted with that smell, but now it is a good smell meaning he is home! we cant wait to see where a new job will take us!



chase gave us a tour in the quint and then i made him take a picture with the engine he was using all semester! i like to call it the banana! it was really cool to see what he has been up to all this time!

who needs swim lessons when you have a tub!

we are so ready for summer! Emma continues to master he floating skills in the bath tub i think she is a little fish just like her daddy!

oh man....

THE CLIMBING HAS STARTED!

so i have always heard peoples funny stories about there kids climbing and now i know what they mean! as i walk into the kitchen the other day i find this.......



yes, my daughter was in the fridge!!! just looking for something to eat! i about died of laughter!

new additions to the family!....

and no its not my immediate family.....my sweet sister-in-laws had there baby girls recently ! i was at the hospital when Toni and little Marley Shay Militoni!
she is so precious and has the sweetest disposition! she only whimpers and it just breaks your heart! Emma loved holding her , when the time comes she will be the best big sister! and Shana had sweet Danielle Marie Garrett just a few days before! she is so cute and i cant wait to see her in a few weeks! i love getting new additions to the family! And just as surprising was that neither chase or i felt a really strong urge to have another one.....well see how long that lasts! but for now we are enjoying having them in our lives! welcome to the family girls!
