so emmalee and i have been out of town but we just got back so look forward to some a new post!

Its official!!

chase is a firefighter!!!! yeah! he graduated this Wednesday with the rest of class 51!!! i am so proud of him! he absolutely loves being a fireman, and whatever makes him happy makes me happy! he is such an amazing man and he will be the greatest firefighter! its a little scary to think but i am so proud to be a firefighters wife! he has worked so hard in the academy! he would come home covered in smoke and smell just like a burning building , and yes i am now well acquainted with that smell, but now it is a good smell meaning he is home! we cant wait to see where a new job will take us!



chase gave us a tour in the quint and then i made him take a picture with the engine he was using all semester! i like to call it the banana! it was really cool to see what he has been up to all this time!

who needs swim lessons when you have a tub!

we are so ready for summer! Emma continues to master he floating skills in the bath tub i think she is a little fish just like her daddy!

oh man....

THE CLIMBING HAS STARTED!

so i have always heard peoples funny stories about there kids climbing and now i know what they mean! as i walk into the kitchen the other day i find this.......



yes, my daughter was in the fridge!!! just looking for something to eat! i about died of laughter!

new additions to the family!....

and no its not my immediate family.....my sweet sister-in-laws had there baby girls recently ! i was at the hospital when Toni and little Marley Shay Militoni!
she is so precious and has the sweetest disposition! she only whimpers and it just breaks your heart! Emma loved holding her , when the time comes she will be the best big sister! and Shana had sweet Danielle Marie Garrett just a few days before! she is so cute and i cant wait to see her in a few weeks! i love getting new additions to the family! And just as surprising was that neither chase or i felt a really strong urge to have another one.....well see how long that lasts! but for now we are enjoying having them in our lives! welcome to the family girls!

boondocks fun!

so just recently we were asked to join a softball team....yes i know you just don't do that everyday but we love the people who invited us! anyways so we all decided to go to boondocks to practice our batting skills!
now for those of you that don't know i used to play softball way back in the junior high days! and i really liked it , and those amazing skills ( ha ha) that i learned have stayed with me! i only missed 3 out of 24 balls on my first time since 7th grade!!! yeah me!
anyways chase is really good too, he had never been to batting cages before and was a little nervous but he hit them out of the park! we are gonna have a good team!

so while we were there i wanted Emma to have something fun to do so we bought her and lyvi some bumper boat tickets! what a funny thing to watch! emma had the best time in her almost 3 years of life! emma thought it was so funny to squirt other people and even though she was freezing she lived it and wanted to go again! lyv on the other hand HATED it! it was so sad to see but this picture explains it all!



such a sad but funny day!so the girls all decided to go on go-karts after that and it was a lot of fun, i haven't done stuff like this for a long time and it reminded me of the good old days ! we need to do it more often!

for real this time!

WE GOT A DOG!!!! really!!! like we went and rescued a sweet little puppy and he lives in our house and we love it!!!!

so yes i am up at 5 am every morning because we have a dog who apparently cant hold it passed then but its okay cause we love him! a couple of weeks ago chase and i were feeling like we should have had another kid cause emma was getting lonely! so me being the animal lover i am said "lets get a dog instead!" and sure enough emma and i went on our search! we went to three large animal shelters that had some really cute puppy's but they were big puppies! but since we live in the house my parents own and my mom didn't want us to have pets anyways we knew we needed a small dog.......so we continued our search to online! i found out that the dogs at petsmart are actually rescue dogs and man was i happy! i found our sweet puppy at petsmart of all places about 3 days after our search began!!!
he is half Yorkie and half sheltie! he is almost 3 months old and he wont get bigger than 10 pounds!!! the first week we had him he slept all day long and emma cried cause she wanted and i quote " not that puppy a different one" ! hilarious!

now they are best friends and they are constantly chasing each other! we are so glad we got him he is such a sweet snugly puppy! and he still sleeps a lot! he fits right into our family and loves to just chill with us! i am gonna throw it out there that he is the best purchase we made all year! i almost forgot to tell you his name ......REGGIE ROCKWELL!!! we call him Reggie for short! inst he adorable!
